Huge Community Sale at AbodesJoy

What started as an idea for a sale of our lightly used hand- and power tools, unused surplus materials, org swag and other goodies has blossomed into something better … A COMMUNITY SALE! Visit this page for updates and more info between now and June 1.

One day only at our training center (707 Ritchie Ave, Silver Spring, MD, 20910) - join us for the tool sale and to connect with your AbodesJoy friends, and find some treasures and treats!

We’re opening up the yard (front and back) and house to our community/neighbors/friends!

Do you have a pile of things waiting for the thrift that may be worth a little something? Do you have a side hustle surplus to sell? Do you need motivation to do your spring cleaning? Have you always wanted to have a yard sale but don’t have much of a yard (hello, city living)? This is the event for you! For a suggested donation of $100 (sliding scale available, complementary for 700 block neighbors), set up in a ~10 ft by 10 ft space in the yard and share the treasures you’re ready to pass along with our shared community. Other community groups welcome!
